Congratulations to
@Old 97, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of his pick, Denny Hamlin, in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway
The top of the player standings remained in the possession of
@kkfan91 for the second consecutive race as
@dirtfan, the player in the second position, stayed on his rear bumper after previously completing a strong eight race run that resulted in his gain of 12 positions.
The Top Five Club saw
@JJ_14, who joined the ranks following the last race, take a good swift kick in the ass when his pick, Ross Chastain, tore up his car apparently attempting to try his luck at riding the wall for the last 18 laps of the race, thereby dropping
@JJ_14 beyond even a Top Ten position in the player standings.
Meanwhile,
@Mr. E rejoined the club after a four race absence when his pick, Chase Briscoe, finished second in the race when he came out on the short end of his battle with Hamlin at the end of the race.
Currently, the hottest player in the game is easily
@Clutch, who in his quest to win the game's championship for the second time, has now picked a Top Ten finishing driver in seven of the last nine races, including four Top Five picks.
Also displaying some skill at the game are
@Hawaii808 (three consecutive Top Five picks) and last season's game champion,
@Spotter22 (three consecutive Top Ten picks).
The "Most Upward Movement" award was claimed by
@ken who rebounded nicely with his pick of Briscoe and was able to reclaim four of the seven positions that he gave up after the last race.
As mentioned previously, the pick of Chastain by
@JJ_14 didn't quite work out, having cost him seven positions in the player standings, and it resulted in his having the need to find a spot somewhere to store . . . the "Slipping and Sliding" award.
