My first top 10 came in race #9. At one point early in the season, it felt like I was never going to get a top 10. I haven't finished outside the top 20 since race #11.

My average finish was about 27 too.

@kkfan91 and his insane strategy is going to be hard to beat, it seems like.

Jinx alert !!!

It's not @kkfan91's insane strategy that'll be hard to beat, it's @dirtfan's not insane, and so far, successful strategy.

He's already used 10 of the 12 "C Group" drivers that need to be used, has yet to use an "A Group" driver, and his picks to date have an average finish of just over 14th place.

He's on pace to join @Jorge De Guzman and @Head423 as a two-time Champion of the Pick 'Em game. :dirtbike:

I hadn't noticed that @dirtfan hasn't used a single A driver. That's wild (that he hasn't used them).

I don't know if anybody has noticed but "dirtfan" is gonna kick our ass in the long run unless he has an incredible string of bad luck

Not sure I want them to go back racing. This 18th place would be Chloe and I’s best finish in over a month since Elliott scored us a 15th place at Michigan.

From my seat in turn 4 the sun is out and the track is dry like 30 minutes tops.
Night time will be here soon. Quick…do something to help out a fellow competitor and delay the start! Climb the catch fence!! Spit on the track!!! Go buy 50 bottles of water, open them and throw me on the track!!!! I need this top 20!!!!!

Congratulations to @Old 97, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of his pick, Denny Hamlin, in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway

The top of the player standings remained in the possession of @kkfan91 for the second consecutive race as @dirtfan, the player in the second position, stayed on his rear bumper after previously completing a strong eight race run that resulted in his gain of 12 positions.

The Top Five Club saw @JJ_14, who joined the ranks following the last race, take a good swift kick in the ass when his pick, Ross Chastain, tore up his car apparently attempting to try his luck at riding the wall for the last 18 laps of the race, thereby dropping @JJ_14 beyond even a Top Ten position in the player standings.

Meanwhile, @Mr. E rejoined the club after a four race absence when his pick, Chase Briscoe, finished second in the race when he came out on the short end of his battle with Hamlin at the end of the race.

Currently, the hottest player in the game is easily @Clutch, who in his quest to win the game's championship for the second time, has now picked a Top Ten finishing driver in seven of the last nine races, including four Top Five picks.

Also displaying some skill at the game are @Hawaii808 (three consecutive Top Five picks) and last season's game champion, @Spotter22 (three consecutive Top Ten picks).

The "Most Upward Movement" award was claimed by @ken who rebounded nicely with his pick of Briscoe and was able to reclaim four of the seven positions that he gave up after the last race.

As mentioned previously, the pick of Chastain by @JJ_14 didn't quite work out, having cost him seven positions in the player standings, and it resulted in his having the need to find a spot somewhere to store . . . the "Slipping and Sliding" award.

Our team has had three tough finishes in a row. Gotta get better quick or I’ll lose the lead draft. Dang dirty air! 😉

Now having said that. I had a quick look at that.
Prior to the race you were 31pts behind the leader. Post race you are 49 pts. A difference of 18 pts.
Leaders pick came P15. Yours came P33 a difference of 13 pts.

See a problem 🤔

I just woke up so my math could quite possibly be wrong. 🤣

Thanks bro. I was conscious about being only 49 points behind the leader. It's a relatively small number; I'm still in it.
