Congratulations to
@Mr. E and
@donthaveanickname, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of their pick, Denny Hamlin, in the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway.
The top of the leader board changed hands when
@aunty dive, the leader after the last race, took one on the chin thanks to the disappointing 32nd place finish by his pick, Josh Berry, thereby ending his streak of four consecutive Top Ten finishing picks.
Meanwhile,
@DanicaFreak used his fifth consecutive Top Ten finishing pick, which includes four Top Five picks, to triumphantly claim the top of the leader board for the first time in what seems like forever.
The bumpin' and bangin' in the fight for the top spot continues to be a hard fought battle as the difference between first and sixth place is now just 10 points.
Of note are the four consecutive Top Ten finishing picks, including a Top Five pick in each of the last three races, by
@antman12, now occupying third place in the standings.
The race winning pick by
@donthaveanickname and the eighth place finish by
@Magicmiler's pick enabled each of them to move up five spots in the standings, thereby enabling them to share the "Most Upward Movement" award.
Finally, the "Slipping & Sliding" award was ironically claimed by
@Gators423!, the recipient of the last race's "Most Upward Movement" award, when his pick, Cole Custer, limped across the finish line in 33rd place, six laps off the pace, and caused
@Gators423! to dive eleven spots in the standings.
