RULES OF THE GAME

10 - If a driver picked by a player does appear on the entry list for that race (as posted on NASCAR.com), and that driver is then replaced by another driver prior to the start of the race, the "default driver pick" for that player will be the replacement driver, unless the player elects to select a different driver.

Turns out that neither Conor Zilisch or the #87 car will participate in the "Go Bowling At The Glen" race at Watkins Glen International.

:(

Just curious what the rule would be if the team withdrew the 87 after the pick deadline? Is there a provisional time extension or does the player get a no pick?

The RC’s have really thrown me for a loop this year, and getting zero value out of C drivers. Just venting…

Congratulations to @Magicmiler, @aunty dive, and @FLRacingFan, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of their pick, Shane Van Gisbergen, in the Go Bowling At The Glen at Watkins Glen International.

The top of the player standings continues to be in the hands of @Conover thanks to the distant second place finish of his pick, Christopher Bell.

The race for the lead of the pack remains fierce, however, as second place @Mr. E has displayed text-book drafting techniques in the last five races by picking a Top Ten finishing driver in each race.

The Top Five Club saw the departure of @dirtfan and the return of @JJ_14, who appears to be putting on a clinic with a third consecutive Top Five pick (that's ten Top Ten picks for him over the last thirteen races).

Meanwhile, @Old 97 has pushed off that next-to-last position in the standings that he once occupied by putting together a string of five consecutive Top Ten picks.

Along with the "Highest Finishing Pick" award, the "Most Upward Movement" award was also taken by @aunty dive with a gain of five positions in the standings.

Finally, it appears that @DC76 and @Michfan didn't get the memo as they both picked Connor Zilisch, of broken collar bone fame, which resulted in @DC76 snagging the "Slipping and Sliding" award with a drop of five positions in the standings.

I think during the depths of the winter this off season I'm going to do a "coulda woulda shoulda" spread sheet to show myself where I should have ranked this season if not for my Sad Sack sh!t luck. LOL

I can’t believe it. I was so happy I remembered to submit my pick on wed before I left on vacation. I turned off my phone and never checked on any of the races while I was gone. Oh well that’s my kind of luck
