You probably were within spittin' distance of it on your journey from Chicago to LA several years ago.
I certainly was.
This is near where we live now. We flew up and went to the first race in 2022, the debacle where Hamcrap was trying to wreck Ross everywhere, slowing in front of him, basically exhibiting road rage multiple times during the race. Of course NASCAR did nothing at that moment or afterward to him, but he finished 30th to Ross’ 8th place .
We haven’t been back because the sight lines from the stands aren’t great. Better be really high up or ideally in those upper stands in the first turn to see how they are battling in the front stretch. But it makes for good racing.

We went last year and that too was my biggest complaint and the reason why I wouldn’t return. Sitting middle height at the entrance to turn 1, I could barely even see turns 3 and 4, along with the backstretch leading up to turn 3.
