nascar racing?

As of now they are calling for a 55% chance of rain on May 7th at Talladega too. Not sure when this will end.

I've always wondered what it would be like if NASCAR had a dome race
I mean Bristol is like 80% of the way there...heck they probably should

It's two weeks away, the weather is almost entirely unpredictable this far away. Same could be said for Richmond which is over a week away.

Unless they did something like they have at Safeco Field in Seattle, where it's just a retractable roof but it's still an open-air environment. The question still remains though whether this would provide adequate ventilation to make it safe.

Safeco Field (sometimes referred to as just Safeco) is a retractable roof baseball stadium located in Seattle, Washington. However, unlike other retractable roof stadiums, Safeco Field has what is called a "retractable umbrella". This is because when the roof is closed the stadium is still open on the sides to the outside weather so the Mariners can play outdoor baseball even in the rain. There is no need for heating or air-conditioning because it is just like an outdoor stadium, it just has an umbrella.

Go to an AMA supercross race in any dome. Half way thru you'll have a headache, guaranteed.
