NASCAR Suspends Lee Pulliam, Peyton Sellers... indefinitely

Sounds like BS. I have been a Sellers fan for awhile. He has put everything in to build his operation. To have some idiot in a fit of anger destroy everything you have built while not under green is bs. They are lucky he was only yelling. He should of been pulling the guy outta the car and getting his money worth if he is gonna get fined and suspended indefinitely. Make it count. I don't believe in fighting at the race track usually its a waste of time but when your bringing home junk for a stupid reason you gotta do something.
 
The official, Warren “Lightning” Saunders, had filed assault and battery charges against Sellers on Saturday night, but agreed to drop the charges Tuesday after he and South Boston Speedway general manager Cathy Rice set up a meeting with Sellers to discuss the issue.

Saunders stated that Sellers never touched him and that his contact with Sellers was not intentional

If the above quote is true, the official, Warren “Lightning” Saunders needs discipline as well for trying to have Sellers arrested and charged with a crime didn't happen.

The heat of the moment doesn't work either, Sellers is indeed being punished for the heat of the moment, and if it stands the same application needs to be made against the official for, making a knee jerk false accusation.

What is most disturbing is discouraging physical fights. That may seem small now, but in a few years we are going to have more female drivers. Setting the correct precedent now cannot be stressed highly enough. The delicious potential of having some good cat fights must be nurtured.
 
This is ridiculous I have always liked Sellers myself I dont see a damn thing he did wrong. What do they expect a guy is going to do when some idiot purposely destroys one of his cars?
