For anyone out there that's interested in this console based NASCAR game, it appears that it is now heading for the PC market.....

Somewhat of a tease on this can be found here.

Cool, I'm glad EA isn't involved with NASCAR games anymore, or at least not for now. There are already some pretty decent games with NASCAR in them like SimRaceway, iRacing or rFactor but franchise games are usually more solid

On one hand, I'm glad since I've been playing NASCAR Racing 2003 Season for 10 years now and ready for new game.

On the other, kind of disappointed I already bought this for the PlayStation. But, it will be worth it to buy it again on PC for mod support. I hate the faux paintjobs they put in lieu of alcohol sponsorship.

I will probably buy it so thanks for posting. I guess I need to get another wheel too. Have not raced online in years. What wheel is the best bang for the buck these days?

NASCAR RAcing 2003 and rFactor are my favorites because of the amount of mods. Honestly, I thought NASCAR SimRacing was really really good but EA just didn't support it.

Yeah I need a new wheel too, been playing with a gamepad lol, If the Logitech Driving Force GT is floating around that's a good bet but the G27 is always the best wheel to get however is expensive. I've been looking at the Thrustmaster RGT FFB (you can get a separate H-shifter from Thrustmaster later for it).

I had a look at this game, the physics seems way off, NASCAR in iRacing and rFactor are much closer to realistic.

This game is made by Eutechnyx' North Carolina office, which is made up of former Papyrus employees. Papyrus, who made games like NASCAR Racing 2003 (which is the codebase for iRacing) and Grand Prix Legends.

Isn't this the company where a number of Papyrus people went to when it closed its doors?

I have been playing NR2003 for 10 years. While I like the mods and upgrades, the game shows its age regarding overall graphics. If this game plays anything like that one, I'm in. If it's just a game and not a sim, count me out.
