I had it on (VS right now) and they're talking about NASCAR development.

Good show. They hit on everything from bandos to Pro Cup, legends to K&N Pro Series. Hasn't missed a beat so far -- fun show for someone like me who loves minor league racing.

"The NASCAR Whelen Modified Series is the only NASCAR series that races on dirt and asphalt" ... They race on dirt in that series?

"The NASCAR Truck Series is a series where up-and-comers can race against Cup drivers like ARCA" ... Cup drivers race in ARCA? That's news to me, I can only think of three or four instances in the past three years where a Cup driver has run ARCA.

Other than these two mistakes, I thought it was a good show. Episode 2 airs next Wednesday 7:30pm EST on VERSUS just before Modified Racing!

Oh, and I'd still like to see ARCA on VERSUS instead of SPEED.

There are no Whelen dirt races that I know of unless they have a seperate series for them some where. The Dirt Mods that run Lebanon Valley and upstate NY also run some asphalt races, but those are a whole different chasis.

I know there aren't any Whelen dirt races. Just like Cup drivers don't run ARCA.

I would've liked to have seen this particular show run longer. More Sprint Cup Series fans need to see this. Hell, a ton of "NASCAR fans" don't even know where their nearest local track is.

Hence the reason they don't show up to Rockingham and North Wilkesboro like they said they would, it's ARCA and USAR not Spitcup so they don't even know the races exist. People in DC want a race track close to them but don't show up to the track that is close to them because they don't know it exists.

Baltimore race fans fought for a Baltimore Grand Prix but most of them have never heard of Dorsey Speedway or Marlboro Motor Raceway.

Drives me insane.

It is up to the local track in your area to promote the race with marketing and advertising, if it is not done sucessfully how do expect people to know about races at their local tracks? Here there are plenty of radio stations that promote racing.

ODS doesn't have a promotion or marketing problem.

Rockingham doesn't have a promotion or marketing problem.

Some markets love racing, and some markets only love NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing (even though it's THE most boring stock car racing series on the planet next to the Trucks).
