Hendrick Motorsports officials are allowing NASCAR the use of Jimmie Johnson's winning No. 48 Chevrolet from Sunday's race at Richmond, Va., for further study, officials confirmed. Since the debut of the "car of tomorrow," NASCAR has taken the winning car and one or two others to its research and development center in Concord for examination of how the car handles the rigors of race conditions.
