oh no the n00b again :)

i have some more questions...

now that i´m fine with the 3 major Nascar Series, i found hte Touring series on NASCAR homepage.
i didnt knew there are so many NASCAR Series in USA, wow i´m kinda impressed.
but what i´m askin myself:
so they use the same cars as in the major events?
i think in busch north, and winston west they use busch and winston cars.
and the featherlite modifed is something differnet (cars looking awsome), or do they have the same engines?
but which cars do they run in the other events, like featherlite southwest, hills bros, goodys, raybestos, RE/MAX and in the weekly racing series?

sorry to bother u, but i found no information anywhere, and first thing i wanna know about Racing are the cars (hp are impressive:)) wich run there.

thnx in advance

chris

the cars that run in the featherlite southwest, hills bros, raybestos, RE/MAX are all the same kind of cars. matter in fact they made the rules all the same for these four touring divisions. this way if someone wanted to go race Bristol one week then go race in California another week they could. The cars are 2,900 lbs run v-8 im guessing 400 something horsepower. cars are fiber glass bodies and bodies are 98-02 model. some series run hoosier tires some run goodyear. Hope this help you out

Darn good question, I know only about the Hoosiers, diggerent bodies, fiberglass, etc. stuff but I would be willing to bet $$$$ that Hardscrabble will have an answer shortly. He is a veritable fountain of information and THANK YOU HS. PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I know the Goody's Dash Series use V6 engiens instead of a V8. If I'm correct they drive Pontiac, Ford, and Toyota.

i should tell you to check out www.northwestracer.com or www. racingwest.com these web sites might help you out about touring divisions. i believe nascar 24 is right about the goody's dash series. i don't know alot about that series just the other four touring series. also goody's dash is the only series that run's a toyota as far as i know.

thnx for help.

i found some good information about the cars.
heres some if u interessted:
all touring series run the same engines exept featherlite modified (6l engine)and goodys dasch (4,4l engines).
like big m said featherlite southwest, hills bros, raybestos, RE/MAX all are the same with about 525hp; 5,7l V8; about 1350 kg.
intressting is that winston west uses different cars from winston;
the engines are a bit weaker (650-680hp) and the cars heavier (~1700kg).

but the cars i deffenitly like most are the featherlit modified, those cars rock; they are lite, have a lot of hp and look awsome.
sad i cant see a race of them, cause here (germany) they brodcast no minor NASCAR series :(
