NASCAR Toyota Mexico Series from Phoenix

Just a heads up, this will be on tomorrow(Friday) at 9pm eastern time on MUN2(which i guess is short for Telemundo 2?). Not sure if this series has ever aired in the US before, I have never seen one of their races. Was hoping to make it to AZ to see it in person, but at least it can be seen on TV. Obviously the commentary will be in Spanish,but a race is a race, i don't need commentary.

I think he was 2nd in points in the Toyota series last year, 3rd in the K&N Pro series East standings last year. Current east point leader with 2 wins. He has been looking good lately for sure. He had a little slow start to the season in the east series last year but got a ton of top 3 finishes the second half of the year including 1 win.

We saw them last year when they were here ................... They race like they mean it. Not the best cars, I believe they used to be old Nascar truck series stuff they converted into cars but they put on a show for us. we are going back to see them again tomorrow
 
BTW, this is on NOW. Been on for 30min. Still 90min or so left.
 
Mexican series put on a great show tonight, 3 wide into 1 several times, 4 wide at least once !!! Dudes are awesome competitors. Blown engine with 2 or 3 to go and no caution, oil all over the track caused some wrecks. Really bad call IMO
 
I've gotta check those guys out someday. Seems like a great series! Would really like to check out one of the real short tracks in Mexico, little scared about travelling in Mexico. Have only traveled internationally in Canada (which is just America part 2) and Japan (which is pretty much the safest place in the world anyway). Mexico seems a little scary... Anyone here have experience driving in Mexico? Its so nearby, would like to go someday..

We used to go there but no way will we go now. You are nothing but a target when you are there now.

The Mexican series has their own Monster car, I cheered for it till the brothers in the 4 and 14 sandwiched it in turn 4 and completely destroyed it :(

These guys put a tremendous amount of work into these cars and just as much into bringing the whole deal to the USA. They are very proud of these cars and it really shows
