If NASCAR had a triple crown, which races would you include?

my picks

Daytona 500
Southern 500
World 600

Eff Indianapolis.

They used to, sort of. Called it the Winston Million, they did.

Personally, I'd stick with what they had....

NASCAR used to consider the original Winston Million races, Daytona 500, Winston 500 at Dega, World 600, and the Southern 500 the Crown jewel of NASCAR races. Then the madness of the Winston million lost it's lustre when they began to rotate the races around. Right now I would consider of course Daytona 500, The World 600 and Bristol as the Triple Crown. Everyone loves to win at those tracks because you usaually accomplished a feat.

Daytona 500 cause of the prestige. World 600 also a oldy but goody, Memorial day event that test the will of the driver and equipment.
Bristol night race( old Bristol before stupid new progressive banking), just a survival of the best , at time luckiest. Saturday night shootout on a aggressive bullring, just a fantastic setting for the cupsters.

I'd go with that as wel, but they've taken even that away with a other 8 bazillion night races they've started runnin..

The races for the Million were
Daytona 500 Richest
Talledega Fastest
Coco Cola 600 Longest
Southern 500 Oldest

An argument could be made for one of the races at Talladega and Charlotte as well.

True.

I thought about including the World 600, but decided on Bristol just because it's so hard to win there. There's an element of chance involved, but unlike Daytona or Talladega, even if you're the leader you're still battling lapped traffic all the time.
