Hey Cody, it's good to see another mod fan here. The series is finished for the year but many of the drivers will come down south for the annual North/South Shootout November 4-8 at Concord Motorsports Park. http://www.ccracingsouvenirs.com/nss/

The Whelen Mod series, both North and Souht, surely could use a TV package.

That would be great, but the south will never get something like that. Other than at Bowman Gray Stadium, the crowds aren't all the huge and if they televised those races, the crowd will almost be non-existant.
Even the bigger events of the North, such as the Martinsville race, which also includes the South, don't get much exposure. Speed records the race, but can't find a time to show it.

But they sure find the time to fill up the schedule with the crap they call "original programmig.". Garbage like tuner vision, low rider and all the other non-speed crap they have on.

VaDirt, did you ever get down to Langley Speedway when the mods raced there? That's a purdy fur piece for most of the drivers of the Southern Mod Series. But they used to run there and also at Myrtle Beach as well.
