I say this with as much respect as I can muster - I swear. But when does it end? It's been a long time already. But I guess there is still money to be made somewhere...
I actually see more SR apparel at the races than many other drivers, including one Bubba NASCAR heavily promotes.

90% of NASCAR merchandise I see at the tracks (outside of he offical team trailers) is still the 1995-2005 era. Stewart, Gordon, Big E and Little E, and Jimmie still DOMINATE the "unofficial' market. Crazy seeing 90s era diecasts still in the box, wondering how long they've been touring the circuit and how many tracks they've seen.

She KILLED that national anthem.

Obviously had to complete it in a certain amount of time.

Fast tempo the first half to give herself time to stretch out and vibrato the hell out of the second half the the anthem.

Well done.

If it was Teresa, I'd say it was just money. If it was Richard, I might convince myself it was to honor or celebrate. But for NASCAR, it looks a bit pathetic.

I think it’s cool to see a GM Goodwrench or Wrangler 3 on a modern day New Era hat. I hope this is done with other drivers like Darrell Waltrip or Bobby Allison. I don’t see the problem with selling retired driver merch, the NBA,MLB,NFL and NHL sell retired players jersey’s and shirts. They’re called throwbacks. People buy them, I feel like this will sell too.

Same thing can be said with the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. I was at the hard rock casino on Thursday and they had Marilyn Monroe slots. If there's money to be made they'll make it.

I acted too slow and only managed to swipe one of these hats:

Wish I managed to get a black one, those are all sold out now.

Upon further consideration, I withdraw my previous position.

Did you get yourself a hat? The hats are tastefully done, can’t wait to get mine
Oh, heck no. I no longer think new gear for a long-gone driver is a poor idea. That doesn't mean I want any of his stuff, and I don't wear hats unless I'm birding or painting the ceiling..

I was messing with you, didn’t think you were a nascar hat wearing fella. I should use your philosophy of “heck no” , would have saved me a lot of money on hats over the years.

I’d wear that sucker to shreds.
I wore it the first couple of weeks and then worried I might ruin it so I put it away and also when people asked where I got it I would get a lot of " sure you did" looks and comments so I said the hell with that.

One of my Treasures, personally given to me by Sr. at Summerville Speedway after he drove our car and won the Tiny Lund memorial race that night.
It’s a damn shame whats happened to Summerville. Lived there when my work had me handling that region for a few years, unreal to see how out of towners have completely taken it over. Thank God up towards Florence it’s still actually Southern
