NASCAR's Most Bizarre Moments

Didn't see a lot of moments on SPEED's list that I would consider bizarre.

This, however, from earlier this year, is quite strange. You may have seen it.

How about the drunk, shirtless fan that ran up to Kenseth's car @ Watkins Glen for the autograph during the red flag? That was bizarre.

I remember that :D

Sterling Marlin, 2002 Daytona 500. That also makes the list.

As does the 2008 Brickyard 400 in its entirety.

How about Earnhardt losing yet another Daytona 500 because of seagull interference.

Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson, 2002 Talladega fall race. Martin wrecks Jimmie before the race even starts, essentially handing the championship to Tony Stewart.

Mark Martin, leading the race, has it won, comes to pit road under caution on the final lap thinking the race was over.

Ahh, yes. Forgot about that one. Definitely bizarre.

Speaking of Mark, my wife calls him Mark Martian. I'll let you do the math.

Anyone remember the Pocono race where the drunken fan left the infield on foot and crossed the backstretch and leaping over the wall moments before the field came through.

June 1993. Chad Blaine Kohl, who was charged with running in front of Kyle Petty and Davey Allison as they raced during Sunday's NASCAR Champion Spark Plug 500, told police he had been drinking for nine hours before the race.

Now Kohl told a magistrate in Long Pond, Pa., that he may have a drinking problem. :D
