Refusing to give the pit road telemetry to the broadcast networks, so we can see what the truth really is....You continue to hold on to this like Brian France still sleeps with his favorite Teddy Bear...We the HARDCORE fan know your agenda....MANIPULATION of the race and racers...Come on GIRLZ....Give it up and play it straight.......

Something doesn't add up. The networks have telemetry but don't use it on pit road.

I hate to sound like this, but most of the time when a driver speeds, you can clearly see it on replay. ESPN never showed a replay of Harvick speeding to verify either Harvick or NASCAR's account.

Man, I bet the fuels for the black helicopter gets expensive after awhile.

I've often wondered about this myself....

Like I said, usually the network shows a replay and has some kind of way of proving to the audience that the driver was speeding. When the penalty is in question, the network shows video and, bam, it's clear as day. That did not happen Sunday.

Sad thing is those 5 points they took away dropped him to 3rd from 2nd in points and JJ gets to get away twice during the Chase with no penalty and handed the Championship.:bleh::bleh:

Yep.

NASCAR was out to screw RCR right from the get go. Everybody in the media except for the usual NASCAR kiss ass folk said RCR presented a clear case that the tow-truck knocked Bowyers bumper out of tolerance. NASCAR never disproved it but the penalty stood.

As for Hamlin, he should be thanking the Chase because it's the only way he'll ever contend for championships. Without it, he'd be another mid-pack driver.

You and your black helicopters can kiss my arse. If you weren't a Jimmie Johnson fan and were objective, you'd realize he was handed that championship.

Kurt Busch didn't deserve it in '04 and Jimmie didn't deserve it this year. Hamlin, he didn't even deserve a shot. He's the 9-7 team that won the division over a 14-2 team.

F The Chase.

Ok, so did anyone ever deserve their Chase title in the history of The Chase?

2005 - Stewart, 2006 and 2009 - Johnson.

Every year, the manufactured drama bull**** welfare points system gave it to someone who didn't earn it over the 36 race season (and it was usually Johnson).

Well you know what Andy, you're more than welcome to not watch the 2011 season. I'm tired of explaining that the points are just an arbitrary measuring system that has no meaning except for the meaning we give it.

So far all I've seen are a bunch of sour grapes with nothing substantial to back it up.

So Haters: Feel free to not watch the 2011 season of the Sprint Cup.

As for me, I will be patronizing my local tracks, going to Bowman Gray and cheering on Johnson in 2011.

Johnson will have no trouble winning title #6. The only reason Hamlin and Harvick came close this year was because JJ had a little trouble here and there. As long as Knaus is atop the pit box JJ isn't gonna get beat.

To all you conspiracy theorists out there, see my avatar. It sucks that Johnson won again but for the love of God get over it, the other teams need to pick up the pace if we are going to see another driver holding the trophy next year. I'll say it again, the other 11 teams had the same opportunity as the 48, they all failed to be consistent enough, deal with it.

Andy, calm down, your going to have a heart attack over something you can't control.

And that is exactly the problem. NASCAR has made the points, or more specifically the championship, the prime focus, and in turn, has created a system where somebody can essentially back into a title if they play their cards right. In an attempt to create drama, they've really watered down the accomplishment. The championship obviously always meant something, but it was secondary. I remember after Richard Petty won his last one, he barely even mentioned it. He was more upset that he didn't win the race. It's that attitude that made the payoff at the end of the season special.

I watched almost none of the last ten races, so I can't comment on whether Johnson earned it or not, but the real problem is that because of this system, I couldn't care less who wins it. I don't think I'm alone there.

If they only took my advice of switching the chase races every year. To bad for weather I would love to see what the 48 would do with less 1.5 tracks and maybe even a road course thrown in their.

The only people who are watering down the accomplishment (or attempting to) are the Haters. So far I have seen people claiming that Johnson is a product of The Chase, or that Chad cheated, or Johnson cheated, etc. blah blah blah.

Johnson won, and until the other 41 drivers stop acting like they're on the set of WWE, and start acting like the athletes they are supposed to be, then Johnson will always dominate.

I was thinking the very same thing. Why didn't they ever play the replay? When it happened I said to myself the fix is in. From what I remember Harvick came in behind 2 other cars that weren't ticketed for speeding coming onto the pits so how could Harvick have been speeding. BTW I'm no Harvick fan I've always thought the guy was an as$hole, but the speeding call was total BS.

Why didn't they show it? Because ESPN is terrible.

Yeah it's easier to close your eyes, press your lips firmly on JJ's arse and call everybody else haters. Then to open your eyes and see this sport for what it really is lately.A bunch of manipulated crap.

On his radio, harvick said something to the tune of "How can I be on the ass of 2 cars in front of me, get ticketed for speeding, and they get off scot free?"

Would have been great if the crew chief had said what most of us think, cause they're not a threat to Jimmie and the championship.
