Anyone else collect old National Geographic magazines?

Anyways, I found a rare bird today at the bookstore: June 1985 (The Afghan Girl cover).

Oh, I couldn't live without my Geographic.

My college had all the issues from the beginning. I would spend hours in the library reading them.

I think the NG did a program a couple of years ago and found the girl. Of course, married with kids.

I have the 2002 issue from when they found her. I might have the video of that episode. I used to watch Explorer all the time when it aired on msnbc, before National Geographic moved it to National Geographic Channel (which is only on digital cable here:mad:).

I went to a used bookstore in town earlier and they had a ton of backissues for sale. I looked through them when I saw this rare bird sitting there in mint condition, had to buy it. Been looking for this for eight years (and I wasn't willing to go the eBay route to get it).
