National Sprint Tour!!! :D

be forwarned, I'm about to ramble as I'm uber excited! :D

So, the National Sprint Tour was in Hartford, Michigan Wednesday, and OMG! It was my first dirt track/sprint race. (Got to go thanks to an awesome friend). It is soooo friggin' awesome!!! I knew a little about Sprint Car racing and of course already knew about The King Steve Kinser and Danny "The Dude" Lasoski, and getting to see them in person and get their autographs was the coolest thing ever! And getting to walk the pits and get like right on top of them and you can reach out and touch the tires or whatever! Can't do that in NASCAR that's for!!!

And OMFG!!! Steve is friggin' amazing! His car control and just how he gets around that track! Wow! And during his heat race I believe it was, he went from 4th to 1st before they even got to turn 1!!!

And Steve's driver Tim Kaeding and Tony Stewart's driver Paul McMahan are both really good too! Got both of their autographs as well. And got a pic with Tim along with my friend and his friend :D

I have not been to a sprint car race since 2004. The last one was at Ky. Lake Motor Speedway, me a a buddy skiped SR prom to go to the races, and had a lot more fun there then we would have had at the prom. That night i meet most of the WoO drivers (b4 the split) one of whitch was Erin Crocker. I also got a Right Rear Wheel and Tire off a driver, he banged it in the wall, the wheel was bent but the tire was still good, and he just gave it to me!

But, back on topic, i love Sprints, and i have the most respect for there drivers, something that light, with that big of a motor, it takes some balls to drive.

:D yep, another Dirt Track fan has been born! It is now my latest addiction! hehe :D
(My goal is to make it to Eldora one of these years! That'd be so friggin' awesome!)
