National Tequila Day

The best, smoothest tequila I've ever had is Don Julio 1942
It sips well like an aged scotch.
I sipped a snifter of Don Julio Real that a friend had and it was smooth smooth but my taster is not refined enough for that really expensive stuff. :D

1 Tequila, 2 Tequila 3 Tequila,,,,floor

A friend used to mix a great ****tail called 'the mockingbird' that had tequila as it's main ingredient.
I drank those one night back in the 70s or 80s. I don't remember much about it. :D

Ingredients in The Tequila Mockingbird ****tail
  • Jalapeño pepper slice.
  • Patrón Silver Tequila.
  • 1 1⁄2 oz. Watermelon-Basil Purée.
  • 3⁄4 oz. Fresh lime juice.
  • 3⁄4 oz. Agave syrup (one part agave nectar, one part water)
  • Rocks.

I can appreciate all that like Tequila, but, I had my run in with it many many many years ago,(I thought one night that they were never going to make anymore), so enjoy! :D
