Nationwide at Iowa

A nationwide regular driver hasn't won a nationwide race since March of last year.

WOW!

:beerbang::beerbang: I don't really like the guy cause of all that stuff back in Arca but I'm just happy to see a Nationwide Driver win again :beerbang::beerbang:

Only 2 cup guys and the stands are still packed.

Iowa is the exception to the rule. If you had ten one legged painters racing wheelbarrows the stands would be packed. Kentucky is the same way.

A Nationwide race winner scored points. Are we sure the world didn't end yesterday?

And as usual, the Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards fans continue to praise having Cup drivers run Nationwide.

Truthfully, I don't care either way. I don't see what the big deal is whether they are in there or not though.

Personally, as a KB fan, I think he would be better off just concentrating on Cup.

What happened in Toledo?

Racing for the championship, Ricky Stenhouse very intentionally wrecked Scott Speed (bragged in the garage before the race that he was going to wreck Speed). Speed retaliated by slowing down on the track and wrecking Stenhouse Days of Thunder style.

Speed parked Stenhouse, ARCA parked Speed. Allgaier won the championship.

No doubt, Iowa don't count. The alternative is watching corn grow.

really?

and it was the final race of the season. complete idiocy.

From here.

Attendance dips: Attendance, —37,811 — was by far the lowest of three Nationwide events held at Iowa Speedway. The initial Nationwide race drew 56,087 in 2009 and last year's race brought in 55,988.

Looks like they are seeing quite a drop at this track as well. Like any new track, the novelty wears off.

Watching the race now.

Jennifer Jo Cobb is to NASCAR what Milka Duno was to IndyCar. She's so slow she's dangerous.

Angela Cope, 80 laps in the race and she's 10 laps down. LMFAO.

First time she hit the gas pedal in the race and she loops it around.

I'd say the Cope twins. There's twice as many of them:eek:

the only reason any of those three have a ride is because they're hot, let's be serious.

A woman could win 50 late model races but have red hair and weigh over 120 lbs. and would never see the inside of a NASCAR race car.

Good gosh, is there really anyone here that thinks those Cope twins are hot? Obviously you haven't seen them in person....

Both of them need a dry waller to fix their face. No kidding.

People paid attention to their faces?
