Well if it doesn't rain it out the race will be starting in a little bit. KB has to win from the back since he crashed in Q'fying.

Heck I wouldn't even want Dale Jr coming to the Nationwide and winning races. I want NATIONWIDE drivers winning these races.

KB on pit road with the hood up:(

You say that like its a bad thing? But knowing Kyle he can come back and win anyway. I mean Kyle's a great driver I won't say he's not hell he's a damn good driver I just don't like when he or any cup driver comes and wins races here

You whine and you moan and you complain about the races, yet you continue to follow them as closely as you do. Just sayin....

I hardly considering having Twitter open "following the race closely"

If I was following closely, ESPN would be on the TV screen... it's not, The Rachel Maddow Show is.

All I can say is that the 'Cup race had better be a damn sight better than this snoozer after all the hype.

Yes!! Kez!!

SPARTA, Ky. - Brad Keselowski outran Kevin Harvick to score his 13th career NASCAR Nationwide Series win in Friday night's Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway.

Keselowski stretched out his final fuel load 67 laps while at the same time staying ahead of Harvick in the closing laps to pick up his first series win of the season and cross the finish line with a 1.18-second advantage.

“This car was awesome,” said Keselowski, who last won in October of 2010. “Brand new package. This team is starting to come along. We have good fuel mileage on these Challengers too.”

Keselowski was confident enough in being able to make it to the end of the race on his final tank of fuel and beat a fast-closing Harvick in the closing laps that he toyed with the KHI No. 33 team’s crew chief David Hyder on his in-car radio.

Keselowski said it was all part of the game.

“We all play poker man,” he said. “This deal here is all about strategy and Kevin and I race really well together. It’s been great and it’s good to get that first win this is an entire new team from last season. We have some momentum and it feels really good.”

Harvick wasn’t in as good a mood as the race winner. He had slowed to come to pit road with only a handful of laps to go and then told to stay on track by Hyder at the last minute, costing him valuable time on track as well as speed.

Although he was able to get back up to speed and also stretch out his final fuel load, Harvick wasn’t pleased with the turn of events that cost him a chance at possible victory.

“That was a completely terrible call,” Harvick said. “He (Hyder) just has to make up his damn mind up there. We had a really good car but we just have to learn how to race better.

“We had a fast car all night. Brad was a little bit better. I was not real happy with how the race was managed tonight. I should have just done what I wanted to do, it would have been easier."

Kyle Busch, who crashed his primary car in qualifying, started last in the field and came home third in a back-up machine.

Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler rounded out the top five.

Kenny Wallace, Michael Annett, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Joey Logano completed the first 10 finishers.

Stenhouse Jr. rebounded from an early race spin for the finish while Logano came up short in his bid for a fourth straight Kentucky Nationwide Series win.

Sadler is now the series point leader by four over Reed Sorenson, who came into the race as the point leader but suffered problems on pit road and finished 17th.

Stenhouse, Justin Allgaier and Jason Leffler the first five in the standings.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series now heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next Saturday afternoon.

Brad Keselowski should consider going back to Nationwide full time.

Great Nationwide driver he is, competitor in Cup he will never be.

i agree that hyder screwed up. harvick (and some other drivers) need to learn a little diplomacy though and fix stuff like this quietly. berating people publicly usually isn't the best solution.

Andy follows Nationwide races almost as much as some people follow his every post...is there a smiley for puppetmaster ;)

Good times :beerbang:

I have to disagree, although I don't particuarly like his mouth/attitude at times he's come a long way since 2008 which was his first full year in Nationwide where he has 13 wins and was the 2010 Champion. So far in Cup he has 3 wins and some very good runs, begining of the year he was making his team mate look like a has been. Boy comes from a family of racers who worked hard for it, I always give a little extra credit for that too.
