I just bought my tickets for this event about an hour ago. (I always wait until I'm confident that it won't rain) I am guessing some drivers will be able to run wide open during qualifying and on new tires.

And thanks for posting this thread.

Danica is at the top of the board. Perhaps Brian arranged a double ratings fix this week?

Kurt has spun the 54 twice in practice - but has not hit anything. Not yet, anyway.

Sadler's team had to change his engine. Not good for the Championship Run he was hoping for.

Austin Dillon had an engine problem too, but his problem was fixed by reattaching a loose plug wire.

Going to this today. Hopefully there's no tire problems
Welcome to the forum mispeedway . How bout posting some picks after the race ? Love to hear from folks who get to see the live event . Watch out for a little kid named Aiden , he will be there looking after his dad.

As I stood along the turn 4 fence yesterday and watched Danica run wide open laps I couldn't help but think of of you couch jockeys. :p

I think that both of these drivers are far too smart to let this thing escalate .

I think that both of these drivers are far too smart to let this thing escalate .

It already has escalated. They've been at it since their Indy car days. The only difference here is that the media isn't all over it - for some reason.

If it were Busch/harvick, Gordon/Kenseth or Johnson/Anyone, we'd be force-fed a steady diet.

I love how people on here insult her but don't realize she could drive circles around any person on here.

This is spot on. I watched one of the ARCA cars yesterday take a black flag for failure to maintan speed. I was thinking, I woild love to be running around MIS at 150 MPH. :)

Look at all those Chevy's up front! :punkrocke Good job by Cole Whitt and James Buescher, whose cousin won the ARCA race

she has crazy fast this week, maybe Sam will take out his teammate instead? :p (at the back of the pack)

I don't imagine we'll have to worry about that. I expect to see Logano and keselowski battling for this one...hopefully with a some Stenhouse thrown in for fun ;)

It's not being broadcast live where I am 'til around midnight so I think Imay go drink some beer.

Stenhouse has been average the last two races and the fastest ford is 18th. I say we see Danica win her first race or Cole Whitt

Apparently the race is being aired live on ABC  I'm still going to drink some beer.

It is being aired on ESPNEWS in my area. ABC has the Indy race.

Me too, at least I got the Nationwide Race on ESPNEWS. Go Danica!

I can't wait to see what the speeds are going to be and also see how the tires hold up.

I'm in Canada and the NNS races are usually shown on TSN later in the day - which is the case now. However, I guess the major networks have taling over Nascar after last weekend (I think) so they're shown in real time.

Anyway, ABC Detroit is showing the Indy race followed by the NNS race.

Eff ESPN. If you air the start of something, you stay with it until the event finishes. NBC understands this concept. TNT understands this concept. FOX understands this concept.

And now, my DVR is useless.
