I think it was kkfan who said during the race if you look at the scoring crawl at the top of the screen it says "Dick out".

Next time you look, it says 'Dick in'. Kinda like a ***** on the witness stand during a paternity case.

Jeff Green to drive the No. 14 TriStar Motorsports car this weekend for Eric McClure. McClure, who was released from the hospital Monday, will be at the track but won't race. He's scheduled to speak with reporters Friday a.m.

While it's too bad he's unable to race, how great is it that he was able to come away from that crash last week and even make it to the track this week? Hope to hear he's back in his ride soon.

I remember running my hand over the track surface some years back --- before this last repave --- sure wish I hadn't done that. Didn't quite get to the bloody stage, but it sure made a mess of my fingertips.

seriously? Is it really that rough? Goodyear is working miracles keeping the tires on these cars.

I think Nascar has to put a lot more thought into track surfaces as a means of creating more exciting racing as well as creating separation between the cars . Making all the tracks smooth as glass doesn't do it for me . I heard one driver (can't remember who) saying how much skill it took to manage the bumps , potholes , seams and things at the old worn out tracks . Veteran drivers planned their lines and got an advantage by using their brains and past experience . In other words ,the tracks had character .

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with having to battle the track a little bit. I'm not talking about chunks of asphalt or concrete but a few bumps and dips here and there wouldn't hurt.

Derrike Cope will also be driving the #70 car now.

Is Cope related to everyone in the garage or something? Why do people giving him rides? He has won one race in my life time (Nationwide New Hampshire 1994) and only has 3 NASCAR wins total. I mean he can't still be riding the 1990 Daytona 500 can he? Is this what Trevor Bayne is going to be in 2033?

I think it's because of his 70's Porn Mustache

He's the co-owner of CFK Motorpsorts.

I agree but I'm surprised that I haven't been seeing the argument this year about how this takes away from the local tracks.

My argument would be that if someone would rather watch a race on TV than go to the local track then it's up to the local track to offer something worthy of fans attention. The reason I don't go to the local track on the Sunday of Sonoma anymore is because the damn track announcer always announces the winner.

Roughly one hour into Nationwide Series practice, Danica Patrick is 15th-fastest and has run the most laps of anyone (25).

Correction..... She is now 7th.

Travis Pastrana has now run the most laps in this Nationwide practice. He also tagged the wall earlier.

Why is this race so short? I think an extra 100 miles would be appropriate. At least 50.
