I love road courses and Road America is one of the finest. There's just something about watching them throw 3400 pound stock cars around all over and making them stick. I also like watching the ringers but they've forced the regulars to get better at road courses so their advantage has gone away over the years.

Can't wait for this race. I really think Danica is going to have a good race here.

Looking forward to the race! This will be my first time watching the race at Road America live (I just started following the Nationwide series earlier this year).

The NW series races at some great tracks that Sprint cup misses. IOWA, Road America, and Circuit Villinuve are my favorites for the NW series.

I do like that they got rid of Nashville. That track sucked for TV watching. Nobody bought tickets either.

I heard they released Eric McClure and he'll be there!

Here's a very short article:

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) Driver Eric McClure has received medical clearance to resume racing when the NASCAR Nationwide Series visits Road America this weekend.
McClure has missed the last six races after he sustained a concussion and internal bruising in an accident at Talladega Superspeedway on May 5. Jeff Green drove the No. 14 Toyota in McClure's absence.
McClure says he's ''very excited and thankful'' to be back behind the wheel.
Nationwide races at Road America, a four-mile road course in Wisconsin, start Saturday afternoon.

Anyway, good for him as I thought for a few minutes that he was in much worse shape.

A Nationwide race with just one Cup raider, at the best road course in the country? I just might have to watch this one, and I haven't watched an entire Nationwide race in two years. And it's a companion event with Grand Am.

I like the field for this race. With road racers like Ron Fellows, Sam Hornish Jr, Jacques Villeneuve, Nelson Piquet Jr and Max Papis batteling it out, we should see some great, and very aggressive racing. Then there are the road course newbies Auston Dillon, Danica Patrick, Cole Whitt and Miguel Paludo to liven things up. Throw in the traction challenged Brian Scott and the slightly crazy Kurt Busch, and I think we'll be talking about this one for months.

Thanks again for the thread D. Fan. Row 5. Call her to a good finish.

Kurt is starting in 22nd . Why don't the 21 drivers in front of him just give him a little room to get by . Then no wrecks , no bad temper , no hard feelings ? It's just so easy , when you look at it that way .

Busch is a good enough road racer to not have to bully his way through. Whether or not he realizes that is, IMO, 50/50.

I'm actually curious to watch some of the regulars such as Stenhouse, Patrick, Dillon and those who we may see in cup some day. It' be nice to have another good road course driver in the top series.

I'm looking foward to seeing Danica run well this race. I think a top 10 should be huge considering the top 7 road racers in the field. She just needs to stay away from those Canadien fools Villaneuve and Badfellows.

Is it just me or are most of these nationwide drivers just unbearable to listen to? Michael McDowell has to be one of the most all time annoying people to look at and listen to. I can't stand his smug smile. Between these idiots and the Danica love fest I fast forwarded the pre show in record time.

Come on, you know you love the Danica love fest.
