Thanks for this thread I missed the last race because I didn't see one of your race lead up threads, thanks for keeping me informed. I have a lot going on right now in my life so I come to this forum for my race info. I wish someone on here did as you do and post up race info on Rolex and the LeMon's series.

me too. well, actually i'm kinda lazy and find this forum suits most of my racing and political discussion needs.

So I guess they'll have to do 250 miles in 5 hours?

Baba bing. :D

You are welcome. I dont follow the LeMans Series much but I can try and do that for ya.

The last Nationwide race at Martinsville was an atrocity. 24 cautions or something like that.

I like standalone races better.

At least get it right if you're going to post the number. It was 19. You'll have that occasionally. You'll also have races with a whole lot less. My point is, it's a great track. One of the few traditions that are left in this sport. It would be nice to see the Nationwide Series on the track again IMO. A triple header would be nice for those of us that are traveling 500+ miles, one way, to get there. I don't have the kind of disposable income that allows me to support it on an off weekend, but I'd be there if it were on a Cup weekend.

See there we go with tradition, another part of Nascar losing its' IDENTITY.:D

Since Danica will be at Gateway Raceway this weekend, she will be representing the Nationwide Series at the hockey game this Friday night. It is the St. Louis Blues vs. Chicago Blackhawks. She will be dropping the puck at the beginning of the game.

Vince Welch calling the race this weekend:(

You people who complain about Marty Reid haven't heard what terrible announcing sounds like yet.

I usually love ESPN's coverage but this is painful.

"Ryan Truex runs well at short tracks and this is a short track" ... um, no, Rusty, Gateway is not a short track.

Notes - Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, and Paul Menard are set to run this race. They will start at the back of the field.

And, imagine that, ESPN2 did not miss the start of the race. Missing 10 minutes of pre-race did not matter because of the Truck race.

Oh, and for the record, we dont need 2 minute updates on this. We can all see it as we watch it on TV.;)

Multiple bad pit stops by Justin's crew cost him the race.

I didn't watch the whole race, but that last one sure did. Super slow, the left front was ready come off before the jackman even came around the car.

Maybe Penske sabotaged his pit stop so Keselowski could win the race since Kez is returning next year and Allgaier isn't. :sarcasm:

Hey, the excuse works with Kasey Kahne.:)

A crazy race. What a lot of crashes there for awhile. Danica unfortunately got caught up in that. She would of finished on the lead lap with a top 10 or 15 for sure.

They looked like they all had anchors attached to em. I was really pulling for him. Justin is a local driver for me and he can wheel a car. Hopefully someone can pick him up quick. he has proven he can hang.
