Lots of changes in the series this season. Eight of last year's top twelve in points have left the series or are moving to a part-time schedule, with only Regan Smith/Elliott Sadler/Trevor Bayne/Brian Scott remaining.

Ty Dillon, Brendan Gaughan, James Buescher, and Dakoda Armstrong all move up from the Truck Series with Chase Elliott, Ryan Reed, and Dylan Kwasniewski also running their rookie seasons. Lots of opportunities to see a first-time winner.

I'm thinking Smith wins the championship and Elliott wins ROTY.

If kybu don't screw it up too bad by wreckin some of'em out I think It'll be Dillon ROY and the championship.

Champion: Regan Smith
ROY: Chase Elliott, though Ty Dillon will win a race as well. And mark my words, watch out for Chris Buescher. He may be the surprise of the year

Great minds think alike

What would you deem appealing?

Honestly, those days are over.

There is not many Jeff Gordon's and Kyle Busch's coming into the sport anymore. I was somewhat high on Baynes but he has been a mega dissapointment. I'm keeping my eye out for Larson. Hope he doesn't flame out quick.

I think there's plenty of talent out there, the problem is that there aren't enough quality rides to go around anymore. We don't see small teams compete and win anymore. Larson is like the LeBron James of NASCAR, but even he isn't with a top organization.

Talk about your unapealing crop of talent.
I think very recently and at the moment there's as much young talent in the Nationwide and Truck series as there's been in a while. Blaney is supposed to get fifteen races with Penske this year, Drew Herring is going to be in the JGR #20 some too. TSM also said Larson is still going to run 25-28 races with them this year.

I had a dream that Kyle Busch "drove thru the tight" and ran right over Brad Ks car, Brad K then ran all over the place like an idiot smacking himself in the butt. Of course my dreams never come true but what the heck, I had to share it with somebody

lol 99% of your premonition came true. Not bad at all.

Guess I will hope for a Gibbs car to win the championship but in reality it will probably be Dillon

Kyle Busch will win a bunch and Sam Hornish will be the reason the they dont take the owners championship again.. Ryan Truex will win in 6 of his 15 starts in helping the Penske #22 capture their second straight.

Coulter was their downfall last year, 21st and 14th in his two starts.

You got your Ryans mixed up too lol.

I never said they were without talent, just not very appealing. I haven't even heard of guys like Ryan Reed, or Dylan Kwasniewski(sp?)

We'll see.

How did you come up with that asumption Kylefan? lol

You went from a likely scenario to a hell of a shot in the dark. You would make a terrible betting man.

Then they should pay attention to the lower divisions, where the racing is much better

What division(s) are those you speak of? Other than the Truck series what other series puts better racing? Nationwide is poluted by Cuppers that just wont leave and the Cup side is as exciting as watching paint dry when you have Jimmie Johnson winning 5 straight races and such.

And Villipoto wins all the supercross races ;)

Nationwides are great Reck, I highly recommend them

K&n, some arca races, and late models. Ive seen a lot of these young guys before they move up to the big time

I would not be too disappointed in Trevor, he has only run in 46 races in 4 years(cup). His nationwide runs have been pretty good( 6th lastyear in limited time)
Besides there is another driver with 46 races or so with a much worse record...........LOL

I watch most of them but I end up tuning out because a certain somebody goes and spoils the show for everybody.

Oh I have no means to watch those lower series races. I barely get the channels where they show NASCAR. With Speed gone I really am without a motorsports channel. All I get is the main ones.

Yeah I guess but my disappointment has also something to do with him abandoning Gordon when Gordon took some of his time to show him the ropes. I lost alot of respect for the young man.

Yah I hate it when Brad K wins too

It will be his "owners" fault if he does burn out IMO

ESPN's coverage will suck and Brad Doherty* will reiterate something that I already know.

*I hate UNC
