Nationwide teams penalized

Oh dear, Penske never learns. Should be suspended a race or two already NASCAR wide.

LOL Really?... where does it say that in the new penalty system? The CC is on probation.. which carries over to other series and also is no longer category reliant.

I find it weird that it doesn't say anything about Brad being on probation... I would think the whole team should be.. or at least the major components of it.

From what that bunch did last year and already they are trying to "cheat" so soon?

Give a a year or two before you commit another violation bro. lol

Gonna have to agree with u on that one... but there are times when rule violations are accidental.. like ride height things or shocks not coming back right... I think that is why the penalties for these violations are so small.

I think this is the third time since the beginning of 2013 Penske won with a car that didn't pass inspection. The Nationwide #22 car twice and Castroneves at the IndyCar race at Texas last June. And, of course, all of the other stuff they did last year.

No fine and no points for chase elliots team, a P-2 penalty should be one or both.

Brad shouldnt be keeping the win with a "cheater" right rear shock. Pisses me right off, he took a win away from my driver.

Brad took seeing this away from Kyles fans. He cant make up for that

Chase Elliott penalized? The hell you say!

The penalties assessed to the #22 team mean nothing. Brad Keselowski gets to keep his win. That isn't a penalty at all.

When has nascar ever taken a win for a rules infraction?

A decade ago. Just because they haven't been doing it doesn't mean they shouldn't do it. If you win and you are caught cheating and get to keep the win, you haven't been penalized at all. That's like getting caught driving drunk and getting a $25 ticket and being sent along your merry way.

+ 100 on that Andy, the winner ought to do it legal

If you aren't running for points, and all you get is a little tiny "fine" why not cheat? You keep the check and the trophy so why not?
