Confirmed today that the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will return to Eldora Speedway.

It's a safe bet that the Truck Series will not return to Rockingham since the track has ceased operations again.

Man Rockingham cannot catch a break. Ah well, I've been to Rockingham before, it just doesn't have the same infrastructure and support that Concord, NC has. It's basically a one horse town in the middle of nowhere, so not too surprised that it's been having trouble.

Eldora is even more isolated out in the middle of nowhere, but I was there for the first truck race and will be there with a big grin on my face in 280 day's.

They'll be OK for 2014; they already have a couple of sponsors like American Ethanol on board for next year. After that it is pretty unclear though.

It's a shame, they put on a damn good race back in April.
