NBC/TNT coverage nominated for two Emmys

ATLANTA -- "NASCAR on NBC/TNT" received two Sports Emmy nominations Thursday from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

NBC/TNT was nominated in the Outstanding Live Sports Series and Outstanding Technical Team categories.

The Sports Emmys are given to sports broadcasters and industry professionals in such categories as: Live Sports Special, Live Sports Series, Edited Sports Special, Sports Documentary, Edited Sports Series/Anthologies, Weekly Studio Show, Daily Studio Show, Studio Host, Play-by-Play, Studio Analyst and Event Analyst.

The 24th Annual Sports Emmy Awards will be presented at a black-tie dinner ceremony on April 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. Leading sports broadcasters, personalities and television professionals will be presenters at this star-studded event.

Additionally, Roone Arledge will be recognized posthumously with this year's Lifetime Achievement Award for his legendary contributions to sports programming.
 
Because FOX sucks, they think loading the screen with bulky graphics is what we want to see.

I liked fox better until they started to interview drivers during the starting lineup during the last few pace laps. I hated it when Benny did it and I hate it when DW does it. For me it adds no new info.
 
I hate :dual9mm: TNT and NBC!! Fox is 50 times better, even though DW's Boogity Boogity Boogity, is getting a little bit old. :blink:
