NCAA March Madness thrillers in progress

my condolences bo. :(

Thanks. It was a good game and a very good season for the Buckeyes, even though it didn't end with the championship a lot of people expected it to. They had a good look at a three pointer at the end that would have won it, but it just missed. It happens.

As far as my second favorite team, Florida State, I knew they didn't have the offense to go much farther than the Sweet 16. Honestly, I didn't expect them to even get as far as they did. They played great defense, but just didn't have enough scorers.

I'm from Kentucky but am far from an UK fan, most of my friends and my girlfriend love UK, so i was happy for them, but yet i was hoping Ohio State would of nailed that 3. Most UK fans think that they are the only school in the state, they may be the "best" but there are 5 other DI NCAA schools in the state. (Murray (OVC), Western in Bowling Green (Sun Belt), Louisville (Big East), Morehead (OVC), Eastern in Richmond (OVC)

I know the OVC can not hold a candle to the SEC or Big East, but an OVC school has put an upset in the 1st round the last 2 years. (Murray over Vandy 2010 and Morehead over L'ville 2011) Murray and Morehead are the most under rated teams in the state. Western gets more talk and they have kinda sucked for a few years.

Also, UK has never accepted Murrays offer to play. But will play other OVC schools.

Butler is in the Final Four for the second year in a row. They went to the title game last year before losing to Duke. I can't see them beating Kansas and winning it all, but this is pretty impressive for such a small school from a small conference. They play with a lot of heart and I am rooting hard for them.

glad i didn't have any money on these games. pulling for butler to win it all. i would go with kentucky but i don't like john calipari at all.

That VCU game was really fun to watch. I didn't watch the first half, but when I saw the halftime score I had to watch the second half and it was epic. Kansas could get pretty much anything they wanted inside and yet steadfastly refused to consistently go inside. VCU played with heart and determination. They hustled and they made some huge 3 pointers when the game got really close. Their coach made a risky, but great, decision that they couldn't really match up with Kansas' size, so they went to a smaller lineup that KU couldn't keep up with.

i missed the butler/vcu game but kentucky/uconn sucked for the supposedly best teams in the country. give me a break, ucionn won because kentucky played at a higher level just a tad less than uconn. if i were a sports writer i'd write a story titled "uconn sucks less than kentucky". go butler!

Neither game was that great, I figured both of them would go down to the final seconds, but not too much drama in either of them.

I think it would be awesome for the game if Butler won the championship. I really don't like Uconn, and not just because they have been caught cheating again recently. I just plain don't like them.
