Any fans of this series? I had to watch the season premier via the internet because I missed it when it was on TV. Love this show and wondered what they would do when they broke the crew up last season. Am glad that it was all a plan. If you saw the premier, what did you think of Ziva's outfit when she was singing? Cut quite low in the back and I liked it! :growl:

Anyway, looks like there will be another ongoing case for the season with agent Lee.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, I'm not sure. My mind was anywhere but on the music! ;)

It sounded like she was actually singing. I was able to hear it because I wasn't paying THAT much attention to the dress! :D

She can sing.
She graduated in 2000, after studying music theater. In that time, Cote appeared in several theater productions like: Indiscretions, The Fantasticks, The House of Bernarda Alba, And The World Goes 'Round, A Little Night Music and Cloud Techtonics.

I knew all that bp, but I guess you didn't see the episode. Go to CBS.com, look for NICS and click on Play this episode. You don't have to watch the entire show because what we're talking about is in the first minutes of the show. :)

I'm also a big fan of the show. It seems that Ziva misplaced the back of her dress.;);) Agent Lee will be the recurring bad guy this season. I'm not sure if I like the new director. I wasn't crazy about him last year, and haven't really warmed up to him this year.

Oh I saw the episode. I'm a regular viewer of NCIS. I was more responding to those questioning her singing talent.

As to the Mentalist, I watched the 1st show. It was OK. To me it was more of a James Roday (Psych) meets Jeffrey Donovan (Touching Evil) 'tweener. At this point I still prefer Fringe. But I can see taping the Mentalist to watch on Wednesdays which has to be the worst night on TV.

I still miss Kate:( They shot the best looking thing on the show in the head.

Yeah, she was hot and the tension between her and Tony was something else. But I think the opposite with Tony and Ziva. They have both shown signs of thinking hard about the other. And what about Abs and McGee? ;)

The only thing they have in common is their brains. Who would lead who where? :D I am thinking that they really need a good solid love interest for Gibbs and how about the new director? Nah, it's good as it is and plenty eclectic. It had to take a screwball to think of a cast like that.

They tried a love interest with Gibbs with Susanna Thompson (Army Lt. Col. Hollis Mann) in Season 5, remember. I don't know if the viewers or critics or writers panned the idea but she had a recurring role most of the season. To me she looked too old for Gibbs but having someone from the outside, rather than an NCIS member, would be the way to go.
It appears they try really hard not to bring in their outside lives. You would think with the dog Tony is supposed to be there'd be more scenes with him and someone. We did see Abby develop a small crush (pun intended) on the midget but that ended just as quickly.

Anyone suspect the senator early on? I did right from the git-go. When they found his aide dead, I was sure, but the wife did catch me by surprise.

Also, no surprise that McGee was the one who stole the cupcake. Shame on him! :)

CB, that episode was pretty cut and dry as to whodunit on all accounts. I suspected the Senator right off the bat, and then knew the wife was involved when she made the comment about how her husband wouldn't shoot anyone in the back. And, McGee was the most likely suspect for stealing the cupcake, but I thought it could have been Tony at first.
