Need Fuel mileage help 4.8 L v8

• 4.8L V8 OHV 16V FI Engine

This is the engine on a 2007 4x4 chev Pick up. Really want to get her.
I need relatively good fuel mileage. (Drive a honda civc now) This is a new engine....how bad is it gonna be?

I mean real world..I have looked online just wonder if anyone has experience with this engine

compared to that econo box..bad, keep the tires aired up and a good tune up and you can get 15 to 18 in the real world if you don't gas it..

Yep but you can never count on good gas mileage from a 4x4

agreed. Anything rated 2WD, subtract 2MPG highway and 3 city and you're in the ballpark.

Honestly, you're better off having the civic and a beater truck.
