Need help

I can't find pepperspray any where.I hate my job and am often put in situations the put my life in danger.

I'm begining to resent my hubby.
The only things I got going for me is I have a job and no children.

What would you do about a job that doesn't care about the wellfare of its employees?

A hubby that plays mind games?
My patience are running thin.Any help would be nice. Thanks for being a friend.:rolleyes:
 
You might be able to get the pepper spray through a police supply place. I'm a parole officer, so they give it to us for obvious reasons. So far, the only time I have had to use it was on a stray dog at my house who was threatening my beloved Basset. Also, make sure that carrying it doesn't subject you to being fired or even prosecuted. For instance, I can take the pepper spray with me, but not my pocket knife.

A wise man once said, the only way you can ever eat an elephant is one bite at a time. If you are really that unhappy with that many aspects of your life, you have to take an active role in changing them. One at a time. Otherwise, you will get overwhelmed, frustrated, and give in to acceptance. But be damn sure you really want the changes, because too often when a boulder starts going down a hill, you can't stop it.

Have you tried a surplus store? A gun shop might even carry it. Just a thought.

Good darn advice TN.

Fourisis, you keep taking 1 step forward then three back. You need to take care of fourisis first, know which bite you need to take first. AND try to get some counseling whether from your church or another professional. Please don't fall into the pity trap like I did with my 1st hubby.

My prayers are still with you.
 
FOURISIS: I've never been married, but I've been in a fairly destructive long term relationship. If you're truly looking for advice, I think the best idea would be to get out of that relationship once and for all. You won't be able to truly grow as a person and discover what will make you happy until you become independent. Your mind must be clear of all relationship drama if you need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, as I did.

I also happen to have a job I despise, and I get through it by training for a newer, better job that will make me happy. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

Thinking on it, TWF's advice was really the best of all. :)

I got my pepper spray off ebay....they said it was good, haven't ever tried it..but got it for 5 bucks though.........:(

it's light, less than 2 pounds fully loaded(10 shots) and a quality firearm. If you have never owned a gun, take some shooting lessons before making a purchase. It's not as scary as you might think it is but the purchase of a handgun is a serious decision.

I work at Marshall's at the mall.I have been put in bad situations involving shop lifters.one incident involved the empty fitting rooms,4 large football player like men looking at me like a piece of meat,and the employees & managers scattering.Being that we're not suposed to leave the dept.I did any way.Most of next week I work 10am-5pm with 2 nights.

I am speaking to a preist.
Will make an apt.for a lawyer on my off day.
will decide then.

Good Luck Keep your eyes open for other jobs. With all the eating places down there you may find a waitress job. I read where a waiter in N.O. made $65,000 a year.
