Hey folks...I am doing some research for my job and need as much feedback as I can about buyer loyalty, specifically around motorsports sponsors. Please take a minute to answer this poll. Thanks for your time!!!

Kinda depends on the product unfortunately...

I find myself in Lowes a little more than HD b/c of loyalties, but I don't care about Pepsi products, Chevy's etc...

I drink Pepsi, I prefer shopping at Lowes over Home Depot, and pretty much try to stay 'brand' loyal with the exception that I don't drive a Chevy. Hope this helps.

I'm more disloyal to the drivers that I don't like's sponsors than I am loyal to my own.

I can honestly say that I don't care what is on the side of the car that my favorite driver drives. Besides, there are times when there are competing sponsors that have drivers I like. I prefer HD over Lowes even though the headquarters for Lowes is but a scant few miles away from where I live. I do drive a Dodge, but it isn't because Kahne drives one. For years, my favorite driver drove a Ford and all those years, I only owned two Fords.

I guess I really go with what I like rather than blindly going where some people tell me to go.

Nil. My only loyalty lies with good customer service, product quality, and not offending me with insulting and retarded advertising.
I feel the same way, doesn't matter who drives what or what they have on their car. I buy what is cheapest usually as long as it doesn't crap out after a year. I will buy Nike shoes though because i found they last for me, Reeboks do not, that is just my opinion though. Brand loyalty ultimately comes down to price, quality, and customer service.

OK, I like Sprite, not Coke, HD only 'cuz it's closest, AutoZone because they show respect that I have some knowledge about vehicles, Busch Beer, and quite honestly, it doesn't much matter to me what's on the side of a racecar as it does to some others.
I'm LOYAL to my friends, Environmental Causes, Cingular Wireless, Bell South, our USA and our Troops.
BTW, I drive a Nissan, but IF I were forced to buy an "American" car it would be a Chevy.......that's from many years of experience.

I guess you could classify me as "somewhat" loyal --- not because my favorite driver has that product as a sponsor, though.

I am loyal to some brands simply because over the years I've found that particular product superior to any other.

I am a Tony Stewart fan, but shop at Lowes because it is the only game in my small town. HD is an hour's drive away.

Being a mechanic and general gearhead, I would say I'm very loyal. I try to support the sport I love by purchasing products from car sponsors. If I see two similar products of equal quality and one is from a NASCAR sponsored car, I'm more apt to buy that product.

Some of you may have guessed my feelings for Lil'E over the years but I mostly drink Bud. So where does that fit on the loyalty meter...
I do shop Lowe's more than HD but mostly because they are bigger and have more stuff.
I drink Coke even tho my driver is a Pepsi guy.

I'd guess that most sponsors see it as great advertizing, with a 'small chance' of loyalty.

Advertizing is all about getting your name out there.

If they really thought brand loyalty was based on the drivers/cars Tony would be fired, Kurt would never get another sponsor, and Ricky Rudd & Richard Petty would still be driving...
