Anyone use Netflix? How about something different?

I've had it for a few years now, and have been pretty happy for the most part. (except for the fact that my wife almost lives in front of the computer watching crappy Netflix streamin movies...)

But it seem over the fairly recent past, they've changed their release date. For nearly all the DVDs now, they won't realease them until a full four weeks after the DVD is on store shelves. I don't think it's always been like that, but it's kinda frustrating. There are a bunch of movies that came out recently that I'm still waiting for.

I use netflix...My 2 BR players stream it. I like Netflix alot....I though BlockBuster is suppose to have something similar minus the streaming.

I don't stream much, but the GF does. Can't comment on the new releases, I just get what they have

For tv shows try HULU.com

I'm a big Nefflix user both DVD and streaming. I don't watch for new releases so I can't comment on that. However, I have been seeing TV commercials that pertain to the "28 days". I think it's Blockbuster. Both Netflix and Blockbuster have found a big competitor in Red Box. The wife will select a Red Box movie online, then we don't have to worry that the DVD won't be available, we just have to wait our turn. I've seen a couple of our grocery stores go from one to two to even three machines.

It is Blockbuster. That chain shut down here in town, and that store was what made me switch to netflix to begin with. Couldn't stand going in the store, because the manager was too dam pushy trying to sell me all the extra crap.

The only thing I don't like about redbox is that it's outside...and it's cold...and I'm lazy;)

I love Netflix. It's like that for a couple movie company because of slumping DVD SALES.They hold back on the rental to try and up the sales of the DVD.Some release on the same day, some release 28 days later.

We use Red Box, can't beat it $1 rentals, $1.50 for Blue Ray.
