New game

I'm looking forward to this since Activision (unlike Electronic crAp) was smart enough to develop it for the Wii!

From what I have seen so far They have kicked it up a notch. I have a PS3 and can't wait to play it.

Anything is an upgrade from the EA Sports NASCAR games. Those games were trash. I enjoyed the NASCAR Thunder series until they started the friend and foe mode where you'd be on the track and just get wrecked out by some random guy because they're your "rival".

I hated the friend or foe feature, I played Online and the career mode from open wheels to Nascar.

The best NASCAR games to date:

Console: Dirt to Daytona
PC: NASCAR Racing 2003 Season by Papyrus

I hope Papyrus comes back in and makes a new PC game. iRacing looks good but it's simply waaaaaaaaaay too expensive. People who are serious about sim racing swear by it and it's great for them, but for someone who's only going to play once in a while and play online even less, it's simply not worth it. I thought about ARCA Sim Racing when it came out but it required a 2.0GHz+ processor, and at that point, top of the line laptops were 1.8 GHz dual core. Nope, still couldn't run it

Its just upseting it was supposed to come out yesterday:( but now its not until march.

Some of the Papyrus people are with Activision, some are with iRacing, and some went somewhere else. Papyrus is gone. Sadly, I don't think we'll see another PC game like that again since everyone seems to be into PS3, Wii, and others.

Keep excitement in check until you see actual gameplay. Everything looks good in trailors.

The only reason I haven't played iRacing is that it cost too much for me. I already have one game that I sink much money into, I don't want another one.

I looked in to iRacing and it is abhorrently expensive. The amount you have to pay to run that simulator for a year or two (you pay monthly, plus you have to buy cars and tracks and etc.), I could literally run an entire season of UCAR at Old Dominion in reality.

If you're a professional racecar driver, I can see where that game is a valuable investment. But if you're just a gamer, it's just plain stupid to spend that.

I agree, if you're like me and just want to play a racing game on the weekend with some friends (either in the same room or online) then iRacing is not for you (or me). With the amount of money you spent on iRacing, I could probably drive in the Hornet Class at my local race track.

Yep. Spend about $800 to install a roll cage and knock out the glass and my car is race ready. I know people who spend that in two months on iRacing.

It's a scam. I mean, for a pro, it's a valuable investment... but for anyone who doesn't race cars professionally, it's a scam. And once NASCAR got in on iRacing, it got even more expensive. I bet those guys make mad profit.

Screw getting Iracing someday then I'm just gonna do that:D

I wouldn't mind getting into production car racing, it looks like fun.

Something I have been wondering, is this game going to allow alcohol sponsors?

It shows the blue deuce in the trailer, and it says Kurt Busch on the hood instead of Miller Lite.:( I am wondering if they will update it to Keslowski, it's probably why they pushed back the release date to make sure they have all the right cars updated with sponsor and driver

Too bad they don't seem to have any plans to release this game for the PC. It'd be nice to have an alternative to the expensive iRacing.
