This could very well mirror the starting lineup if the weather moves in as expected this afternoon. :(
 
No surprise Newmans at the top, what happened to Kurt Busch? 32nd and over a second off the pace?
 
And he only moved up to that position in the last few minutes of practice. He was much worse than that.

There was no threat of qualifying getting rained out at Chicago, at Loudon there's a good chance first practice will set the field due to rain and NASCARs new policy. I'm thinking everyone was trying to put in at least one good one during the first practice.

NAAAAA...... How could they be? Why would Hendrick sell it's faster cars to other teams and keep the slower ones for themselfs???

Looks to me like a Stewart Haas car Won last week and now Newman's fastest in the first practice with another Stewart Haas car, Stewart and Newman are both ahead of Jimmie and Jeff in points.......whoever's selling these cars at Hendricks is gonna mess around and get their butts fired!!!
