Hey all! New here!! Just thought I'd say hello to everyone!! After today's new of Jr. leaving DEI I did some searching and found ya'll! As you can tell I'm a huge Jr. fan! We were at the Richmond race last weekend..It was a good time. Anyone going to Darlington this weekend??
 
Welcome aboard and pay no attention to the Jr haters here. They are in the minority, but yet think they are of the majority. We have a great bunch of people here and there are those from the very young set, to those of us in the geriatric set. Kat leads the way at 87 years of age, and Whiz is close at 92. Of course, there's barelypure who says he's only 69, but sources have told us that he's really only 13, thinking that he's 50. Me, I'm but an innocent 29 and still waiting to see what it's all about. :)

I see that you were proposed to at Richmond. What a wonderful thing. The last time I was there, the batteries in my scanner ran down before the race and the only place I could get new ones was outside the gate. Needless to say, the wife didn't talk to me for almost a year. Man did that year go fast. :)

So far I really like! Well, I may be jr's #1 fan and as long as we don't have any bandwagon jumpers I'll be nice..j/k.. No, I respect all the drivers and likewise most fans...Yeah, last year in the fall race he proposed by having our friends who were 3 rows in front hold a banner that stretch the entire length of the row! I was completly shocked by it all. We're getting married 9/1 and ending our honeymoon at the richmond race in september. Are we allowed to post pics here? I have some pretty cool pics from the Richmond race last Sunday!!
 
If you don't post pics, we'll throw you out with the dead fish. By all means, post pics and the more the merrier. Front stretch huh. Our seats in the middle of turn 2 weren't what we had hoped, but then again, we'll not be attending many more Cup races. :(

Did I see my name mentioned?
I like the racing at Richmond. I can't say as much for the fans.
Do they really have the police go around DC and Baltimore and sweep the streets for the bums and derelicts and hos and dump them at the Richmond race? It sure seems so.
Lowes and Darlington have much better behaved fans.
Oh, and welcome aboard. I'll certainly do my best to keep you informed on the goings on and misbehavings of your boy Lil'E.
Maybe 1 day you'll wake up and realize your mistakes and become a Jimmie fan. :D

We've had out fun and though there are still some races we'd love to attend, it's the money that is involved these days that keep us away from the big tracks. We get our kicks in person by going every Saturday night at our local track.

Sorry....Not in a million years would I become a Jimmie fan...I have loved nascar since I was 10!! That was 17 years ago! I will only love an Earnhardt!!!
Yeah, Richmond is just a bad city to begin with! I think they took one look at the poverty and trash and said hey lets put up a race track! Not sure what they are thinking here.


To the other wonderful member here that said about your local track!! That's we do! Sellinsgrove Speedway!! Asphalt is awesome but nothing is better than dirt. I have two children both boys. One is 6 the other is 4. We're getting the boys started next year down there with the go carts. I can't flippin wait. I hope it sticks with them and racin someday runs in their blood. Who knows maybe they'll hate it but I only hope its a start for some great years to come!!
