I haven't been to New Smyrna in a number of years, I'm guessing at least 10. Even then the stands were in rough shape, We never sat any higher than the third or fourth row.

i went there in 2014, the stands where nice. Nice aluminium grandstands. Maybe not the same ones you saw??
