For some reason basing the attack capabilities of a naval vessel on these electronic guns doesn't sound like the best idea to me. The tech itself sounds impressive, but they've had major durability issues and it only fires 40 pound metal slugs. That's barely b.b.'s compared to the 2,700 pound explosive shells these old "real" naval guns fire.

Those old battle ships are so much more intimidating too. Innacurate as all hell, meant to rip apart an entire city from the horizon, guns sticking out all over the damn thing, loud as f*ck... put a few of those off any coast & the enemy will start having second thoughts.
