OK forum folk, Christmas is over. It's time to be thinking of the New Year. I have several questionsfor y'all.


Do you make New Year's Resolutions?

How do you plan to spend New Year's Eve?

What are your hopes and dreams for the new year?


Since I asked the queations, I'll go first.
I don't make resolutions, they are too easily broken. I'm spending a warm comfy New Year's Eve witha pot of tea, some cookies and my beeper, since I am on call this year. I'm hoping people will be responsible, so I don't have to put them back together again.

My hopes and dreams....I'd like to see all the sensless violence stop. No war with Iraq or North Korea, the economy pick up......I'd like to win a big lottery, and of course, have Jeffy win the championship in 2003:D .
 
Do you make New Year's Resolutions? Not usually, but sometimes I write things down to remind myself throughout the year.

How do you plan to spend New Year's Eve? Haven't made any definite plans yet. Will probably have a get-together with a few neighbors with some food and spirits. We don't go out for New Year's anymore. Both my husband and I used to work in clubs (many moons ago) and we now consider it "Amateur (sp?) Night" where all of the younger folk go out and make fools of themselves.

What are your hopes and dreams for the new year? I have to agree with you nascarwoman. I hope that we do not have a war started with Iraq or N. Korea or ANY other country for that matter. Peace, love and happiness for ALL!
 
Resolutions? What are those? ;)

Plans ---- just stay at home and out of the way of people who seem determined to get blind, staggering drunk.

Hopes for the new year --- like you, no war with any country.
To get my current home sold, and my new one finished. For my hubby and I to keep enjoying our good health.


nascarwoman --- I sincerely hope you don't get "beeped" on New Year's Eve.
 
I don't make New Year's Resolutions b/c I tend to break them.

Spending the New Year's Eve with family and friends.

I hope that in the new year the economy picks back up and people stop living in fear of terrorism.
 
don't make new years resolutions myself, only because they get broken........so I don't bother......


staying home on new years eve, safe and sound at home..with my year old bottle of champagne I didn't drink last year and hoping DE will at least drink a glass, a half glass or maybe even a sip..he doesn't like the stuff......


Hopes and Dreams......yeah winning the lottery would be nice, but don't see it happening.......just hope for us to stay happy and healthy, and YES for Jeff gordon to win the championship for 2003..wouldn't that be nice?
 
Resolutions? Just continue forward and be myself.

Staying home and watching the Ball drop and the Fireworks from Boston on the tube. Beer and eggnog.

I will be hopeing and dreaming of a worldwide Peace, a better economy, for each and every one of my forum friends to sign up FREE for at least one of the sites in my sig.

And of course for Jeff to win his 5th Championship.

No New Years resoluations
Nothing planned for New Years eve.
And just hope to be able to live through 2003.
 
New years resolutions...yeah, I make them every year and it lasts for about a day. Still, I try! :)

Plans...still nothing planned, but we could be heading over to some friends to play cards. Always a fun thing on that night. Have a glass of champagne at the stroke of midnight and then head for home.

Hopes and dreams...I hope the both the Mrs and I don't develope more aches and pains, but that's part of growing older. I dream that we as a country can stop the bickering between the political parties. We are all striving for the same thing, only differently.
 
Not much of a resolution kind of a guy

Plans are the same as they have been for years. We have a few friends and family over for a night of board games and home-made pizza. My wife makes great pizza. Avoiding drunks is always a good thing.

Hopes for the future...Health, wealth, happiness, and spiritual maturity for my kids.
 
New year resolutions......
I have 4....I am going try very hard to do them...
1. lose weight.....I want to feel better about myself
2. Find a boyfriend...or love of my life
3. Get liscense and car
4. Quit worrying.....I worry a lot


Right now i have no plans for New years probably just stay home with family ....


Hopes for the future....

WHERE DO I START.....hopeing and praying that in the next few years my family will get out of the finiacial problems we are having.....To have a wonderful time at college and experience God more...bring him to my life more then ever....and maybe just maybe he will led me to the man that I am destined to be with for the rest of my life

New year resolutions.. I have a few of em..
To get in shape more, and start out my NASCAR career..

Plans for New Years... I guess eat pizza and watch the ball drop?

Hopes for the future... To be a success in NASCAR, and to have it easy in NC.
