Hi .. My name is Shawna... Im new to the forums so I wanted to introduce myself. I have been on a few "other" racing forums but they have been taken over by young kids who have no idea about racing..leaving topics like.. what shirt should i wear to the race and do you like Kaseys hair better long or short..UGH!!! Their signature on their pages take up the whole page with stupid picture of nothing to do with racing. I was happy to find this forum with a off the topic area as well as different kinds of racing all in one forum. I live in Nor Cal.. not far from Infineon but I like the short tracks. Im a Stewart, Jr and Sadler fan even though they arent doing very well this year.. i dont switch fav drivers cuz that one is winning. I try to hit my local race track every Sat night and have friends who race I-4s. Racing has been in my blood for a long time.. If I ever had the chance... I would love to race any car myself (maybe if I ever win the lotto..lol). Well Im trying to hit my 15 posts so i can start leaving links and pictures..lmao... so thanks for reading this and hope to see ya all around the boards :)

Welcome aboard. Hmmmm, seems that you are a Ford lover, but you root for Smoke. :) Of course, with few exceptions, the racers these days are anything but brand loyal. It all depends on who pays them how much.

You'll find that some people here will tick you off while at the same time, you can make friends with them. Good advice is to never take anyone serious and remember that unless you actually meet them, you don't know much about them. I've been fortunate to meet many friends through the internet racing forums.

Welcome aboard! Glad to hear that you plan on staying around, Fordluvr67. Can we just call you 67 for short? :D I guess my avatar gives my favorite driver away, but that's not my only fave. I began watching Nascar many years ago, pulling for the late Dale Sr., and then got hooked on the Dupont car. Had absolutely no idea who the 'kid' driving it was, but my father worked/retired from Dupont so that was why I started rooting. It certainly didn't hurt when the driver of that Dupont Chevy started winning races and championships either. It has slowly progressed into the whole Hendrick organization along with Jr., and several others.

Again, glad to have you aboard! :beerbang:

Thanks.. 67 is good for short..lol I own Fords(3 ford trucks..91..75..52).. hince the name fordluvr67.. If ford could get some good cars going in nascar I might be persuaded to rout for them.. Elliott Sadler is leaving.. now what is a poor girl to do?? Ok there is Kenseth and Martin.. which my son routs for..lol

i've noticed that lately...being only 1 or 2 fords in the top 10 or 15...seems like it may just be the fusion, or i didnt notice it in the taurus? Also remember ford has the least amount of cars on the track

Y'know, there's something I just don't get. Given the percentage of wimmen NASCAR lovers here, why couldn't I find a Nascar loving woman to marry?
Maybe it's where yer from! Move down here in the south and you'll find plenty of them.

I think the woman already sharing my bed/life/family might have some thing to say about that. And I expect that my drywall saw would serve her nicely as a punctuation mark.
