Do you think that we've heard the last of his post wreck comments? I'm guessing not. You all can figure out who they is! Love it.

Actually , I saw the wreck being caused by two drivers going for the same spot . The only thing Nascar does is make it too profitable to win .

Newman has had some horrible crashes at Talladega, it's no wonder he despises the place. I think we've found someone who hates 'Dega worse than Mark Martin.

He won't have a ride next year, so he doesn't have to worry about it much longer.

Oh , he'll have a ride next year . He's still a top fifteen driver and there aren't enough of them to go around . He's six years younger than the old dudes like Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon , so any team that's building would be lucky to get him . People were way too quick to write off Kurt Busch , but he's still hanging around.;)

Newman vocalize's an opinion, that's detrimental and a fine.

running in the dark and running in the rain is what real drivers do. Look at every other racing series. He is crying cause hes just another 2nd tier driver.

Context is everything
Nobody runs in the wet at those speeds without rain tires.
Nobody runs in darkess without track lighting or headlights.

Well, if Ryan's got the answer to keep cars on the ground he should just tell NASCAR the secret. Carl Long tumbled down the backstretch at Rockingham, Lagono tumbled at Dover, McDowell at Texas. Point is it's not the RP that causes it cause it happens at a lot of tracks. As for the rest of his comments, the leader at the yellow flags were the only ones saying it was too wet or too dark, nobody else. Waltrip even said after the second big one visibility and conditions were fine. Newman may want to learn to like restrictor plates, because it's the only time little teams like the ones he's destined for next year are competitive.

I see Stewart has had a influence on him. But look on the bright side -- Front Row Motorsports finished 1-2, proving that they aren't that bad on resrictor plate racing. And considering that's where I forsee you heading next year, at least you have a chance on something.

I don't think they'll ever really be able to guarantee to keep a car grounded. That can happen at many tracks regardless of SAFER barriers, newly developed cars, HANS devices, etc. And I think NASCAR should be commended for getting the race restarted as well. I didn't really hear any other drivers complaining about visibility or moisture.

Nope. Newman followed Keselowski's formula of never naming nascar. He ranted and let everyone fill in the blanks themselves. That's how Kez got away with his Texas rant, which went even further.

If NASCAR used rain tires, windshield wipers and used headlights, doubtful Ryan would have said anything.
All the end of that race produced was a back marker winner and a lot of wrecked cars.

Oh, and the rear window wasn't?

haha
I'm just waiting for you to get your voice heard as a member of NASCAR's Fan Council. You may just get that idea of your through to them. Then again, this could be Brian's reaction when reading your ideas.....

lol Then again, that's pretty much the brains reaction to everything. You may think he's listening, but then he wakes up and gets frightened because he doesn't know where he is and falls out of his chair.

NASCAR has known since 1987 when Bobby Allison got airborne at Talladega that there's only two ways to keep the cars on the ground but they won't do it because this is what the Media likes to see.

I've seen a hobby stock at 40mph spin out, hit the wall and the car climbed the fence and land in the stands. Luckily it was Thursday practice and the stands were empty. Point is, you're not going to slow them down enough to eliminate a car getting airborne. It happens. I'm sure nobody wants to see a NASCAR race at residential speeds. If there was a simple fix, it would've been implemented by now.
