Tony Stewart won yet another race Tuesday, when he beat several other teams courting a sponsor new to NASCAR.

Stewart signed Quicken Loans to a nine-race deal for Ryan Newman next season, a sponsorship agreement that gives Stewart-Haas Racing its most stable funding package since Stewart became co-owner in 2009.

Stewart-Haas Racing is adding yet another sponsor to its lineup on the #39 team driven by Ryan Newman. Outback Steakhouse, a restaurant chain based in Tampa, Fla., will serve as primary sponsor on the #39 in at least two Sprint Cup Series races in 2012, multiple sources said. A formal announcement of the sponsorship addition is expected Friday at Phoenix International Raceway.Charlotte Observer (11-8-2011)

Maybe "OUTBACK" should sponsor the 10 car next year - cause more than likely, Miss Thang will be running Out Back in the majority of her 10 races with SHR...

So the place with the Australian theme goes with a guy from Indiana, not the Australian? I like the sound of the #9 Outback Steakhouse Ford of Marcos Ambrose

Outback Steakhouse is to Australia as Taco Bell is to Mexico.

I hate to hurt anyones feelings but Outback never was and never has been owned by Australians it's one of many "Themed" restaurants started and owned by a group in Tampa Florida in the late 80's. Now known as OSI Restaurants Group. They also started and own Carrabba's Italian Grille, Bonefish Grille, Roy's Restaurant and Fleming's Steakhouse.
Think back to the original "Hooter's" restaurants and you get a clue who these guy's are.

Congrats to Newman!

That's what I was getting at earlier, Flash.

Ooops musta missed your post, what ever happened to the little dog anyway? and what about the speculation about whats in their taco stuffing? MOST OF ALL ARE THE TWO RELATED?
