Happened to click over to NASA TV and they showed a clip that newman want to kennedy center in florida yesterday. He drove the astrovan, got a tour of the crawler, and recieved a green flag that was taken into space and traveled 17,500 MPH. This year is the 50th anniversary for both NASA and the Daytona 500.
