News people never cease to put the dumbest "witnesses" on the air

Nothing odd about choosing him, but his statements are a little whack.
 
I'm just saying, that after hearing what he had to say, why wouldn't somebody say..."hmm, what else do we have?". Did the guy actually prefer that the pawn shop owners take being shot and killed like men so as not to put any others at risk from stray bullets?
