Next First Time Winner In 2013

Probably Jr will get the first one, but I'm pulling for Kurt, it would do him the most good.
 
Ha "Jeff Gordon who had a 2nd place finish at Sonoma.... then there's Dale Jr."

If Gordon can have just a little luck go his way for once he will get the win.
 
It'll be somebody you don't suspect, like Almirola, Ambrose, Menard or Jeff Burton.

Jeff Gordon probably will eek out a win this season as well.

For this season: Clint Bowyer, or maybe Jeff Gordon
Period: Hmmm...I would like to say Almirola but his performance has fallen off...maybe Stenhouse Jr. I can see him winning on a 1.5 like Texas or Kansas where he is very good.

If Stenhouse has a win that would sure blow Danica's dress up. Wonder if they race for the bathroom and race for the keys to see who gets to drive the truck and end up taking two cars everywhere like days of thunder.
 
Next First Time Winner in 2013: Kurt Busch

He's been close so many times. I could see him win as near in the future as the next race.

Period: Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

His best tracks seem to be the D-ovals. He had a top 10 run going at Vegas until he scraped the wall, and he had Kansas won until the caution came out in the middle of green flag pit stops. I can see him winning Chicago. I definitely see him winning Kansas.

I thought the 24 was going to win at Kentucky. Maybe it will happen at New Hampshire.

I agree with that. He was good in Nationwide. I think he's driving carefully in Cup and doesn't want to smash up cars or look like an ass. That, plus the blue ovals seem to be a little down on power this year.

Not likely that he is up against better competition. Must be that he's holding back.:D
 
Roush sat him out because he was wrecking cars. He is probably doing what Jack is telling him to do, go hard enough to beat his girlfriend.:smile:

Ricky was down in the Nationwide series regularly beating the Cup guys. He can get it done against them. I think the only race he's shown us what he can really do this year was Kansas, likely because he got in a position where he COULD win the race so he went as hard as he could.
