I don't really think its a good idea to have the people from the Nextel Cup to be racing with the people from the Busch Series, in Busch races. Its just not fair to the rookies. Well... what does everyoneelse think of this

Affectionately know as Busch Whackers......been going on since the Busch Series came into being when Winston started the Cup series from the Grand National Series (was that about 1980 to 82?). I'll concede a slight unfairness to the rules allowing it but then there are advantages too. Those Busch guys who race full time are in a championship points race.......the Busch Whackers are not. So the competition level is raised by the more experienced Cup guys racing in the series.........that will help them when they advance to the Cup. Besides there is no rule preventing Busch guys from racing in the Cup series......should one of those "Cup Busters" win or place high, the Cup regulars are at a disadvantage too. Turn abouts fair play you know. :D And don't forget, the Busch cars and Cup cars are not the same cars..........weight, wheel base, engines, and rules are slightly different. That's why Cup guys don't run off with the wins like you'd expect by racing in the "lesser" series.

Don't look for any changes soon. :D

I could be wrong but didnt cup drivers win more then half the races in busch last year.

I don't know Smack........but regardless the Busch Championship race was a really good one!! :) I don't think any Cup drivers won........heck, I don't think they even placed in the top ten!! Now the owners race is something else..........didn't RCR it last year? :D
