How about those new members of the NFL Hall of Fame?

Do you like? Did someone not make it that should have?

Before the big game, what's your take on whether Kurt Warner should or should not make the HOF?

I'm just sorry that Bob Hayes wasn't alive to accept. Yes, he made some mistakes after he left the game, but he was a "game changer" in the truest sense. Teams had to come up with the zone defense because they simply couldn't cover him man-to-man.

As for Kurt Warner ---- I haven't really seen enough of him to form a judgement.

I'm pretty happy with everybody who got in this year. Derrick Thomas was my favorite of all of them. He was an absolute beast. Thomas was the closest thing you could get to Lawrence Taylor without doing cocaine.

I hated Rod Woodson when he was in Pittsburgh, but even then I had to admit he was one of the best to play the game. I'm also glad to see that Hayes' prison term didn't keep him from getting elected to the hall.

I was glad to see Tagliagbue not get elected. I never thought he was all that great of a commissioner. Andre Reed probably should have been elected this year in my opinion. He was one of the best in the game for a team that went to 4 straight Super Bowls. I don't see how you can keep him out, but I don't think it is a travesty that he will probably have to wait another year or two to get in.

As a Chiefs fan, I have to say I'm thrilled that Derrick Thomas is being voted in finally. He DOMINATED when he played, his life was taken way too early unfortunately. He WAS the Chiefs defense, and icon.

Yerah, I like all of the selections this year.

Woodson really deserved the election as he is one of the best at his position to ever play the game. :)

The fact of the matter is the football hof is damn hard to get into with so few inductees per year. There are a lot of guys just as deserving to be in it as some of those that are there.

kurt warner will not make the hof. neither will big ben. well, ben may since he has a lot of years yet to play and make a case for himself but his performance so far won't get him there. not if my vote counted.

Big ben is only 27 years old. Give him some time.

In addition, yes I think Kurt Warner gets into the HOF.

He took two different teams to three different Super Bowls. He was the NFL MVP two years in a row and he was the Super Bowl MVP the year his team won it. Aside from that the NFL and the HOF love feel good stories. Kurt Warner's trip from stocking shelves at a grocery store to the Arena League to the NFL MVP is just a great story. That trip ending up in the Hall of Fame is an even better story. I think the voters will eat it up.

I agree. I was so bummed when he died. It was VERY VERY sad. The 9th anniversary of his death just passed on 8 Feb. Hard to believe he's been gone that long. :(
