Multiple sports networks reporting and confirming that Denver Broncos head coach John Fox is OUT at Denver.

Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio, who was the head coach for Jacksonville for nine seasons, appears destined to be the next head Oakland Raiders head coach to be fired.

Not really surprised that John Fox was fired TBH. I mean, he was good at one point, but I doubt he's been good for a long time.

Jets hire Cardinals DC Todd Bowles as their next head coach, John Fox to interview with the Bears for their head coaching position. Broncos reportedly interested in Gary Kubiak.

I thought John would call it quits after his health issues.

I guess Maranelli and Callahan are staying put in Dallas in thier positions.

Have fun with that Raiders fans.

He inherited a Jacksonville Jaguars team that was a playoff threat every year and turned it into the laughing stock of the league.

So he makes teams into the opposite of what they were? Maybe he can turn the Raiders, which have been the laughingstock of the league, into a playoff threat.

Hopefully that's what happens. Whatever happens, I'm loyal to the end.

Oakland has some talent, a lot of veteran talent and Del Rio might be the guy to get that vicious nature of a defense out in Oakland again. It would be refreshing to see the old black and silver back on TV. Also, I like Derek Carr a lot and I think he is the long term option at the QB position. To think he was thrown in and he performed well, especially in the second half of the season. Khalil Mack is a keep as well at the LB position, he was getting it together as well.

It's not ALL bad in Oakland, I just wish the front office was not so rash with decision on firing people.

I agree. Carr and Mack both showed lots of promise. With young players like them I hope they can build something great.

easy now..... but if you want an offensive coordinator you can have Callahan.

Poached the Falcons OC already. Rob was an excellent defensive line coach for Tampa Bay. He was there in the Super Bowl run in 2002.

and he lost two Super Bowls, one with the Panthers and one with the Broncos. :p
Even getting to the Super Bowl is quite a feat though, and Fox has done it twice. Marvin Lewis has been coaching the Bengals for 12 years and doesn't even have a playoff win.

Great article about Johnny Cares-more-about-everything-else-but-Football. With his rep and the Browns seemingly never ending string of QB picks I figured this was going to go badly. Johnny's level of "bad" exceeded my expectations though. Team security having to go get him out of his bed when he's "drunk off his a**" the day before the finale when the team's getting ready to head to Baltimore?

Manziel will never be considered as big a bust as Jamarcus Russell by virtue of the fact he wasn't a #1 overall pick; but he may end up replacing him as the worst "big name" QB taken in recent history.

I think everybody but the Browns and ESPN saw this coming from a mile away. Hell, even the Browns knew better than to take him at #8.

Does anyone know who Russell threw his first touchdown pass against?

I think even the Browns thought it could potentially be a disaster, but after him dropping to #22, figured it was worth a shot.

Josh Gordon failed his drug test.

This guy has wasted his career essentially. So much talent to waste...
